Welcome to the Ask Marian Newsletter!
As you may know, Wi-Fi (short for wireless fidelity) is a technology that enables networking and Web surfing without all those messy wires, cables, and cords. I have W-Fi at home, and my family loves it. If you're thinking of taking the wireless plunge, be sure to use the tools that are available to you to protect your data, your family, and your personal information. Here are some of the things you can do.
As always, I encourage you to explore our Online Safety blog, a terrific forum for discussing a wide range of security issues. I'd love to hear from you!
Sincerely,
Marian Merritt
